The first webinar of the Ibero-American Socio-Economics Network webinar series, which will focus on the effects, challenges, and lessons of the Covid-19 pandemic regarding Ibero-American countries.
In this series, specialists from and in Latin America will speak on the structural characteristics of the economic processes that take place in the region, as well as with the social relations that end up shaping the quality of life, the exercise of rights and, ultimately, the well-being of Latin American societies.
The first webinar, on 6 May 2021, will be a panel discussion moderated by Rolando Cordera(National Autonomous University of Mexico) and featuring Alicia Bárcenas (Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean), Frederico Rocha (Universidade Federal de Río de Janeiro), and José Antonio Ocampos (Columbia University), on "The Post-Covid Future of Latin America: Macro-Economic Views, Structural Asymmetries, and Productive Transformation".
