Join Hideo Aoki and Tomonori Ishioka in a discussion of their new edited volume, The Bottom
Worker in East Asia: Composition and Transformation under Neoliberal Globalization. The editors,
contributors to the volume, and Professor David Fasenfest (Studies in Critical Social Sciences series
editor) will come together to examine the book and the concept of the “bottom worker” as a tool to
analyze the contemporary working class in East Asia that is suffering from downward pressure
under neoliberal globalization. The format of the launch is online.
