The Department of Sociology at Cornell University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in sociology at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. We welcome applicants whose work supports and extends our existing strengths in the substantive areas of economic sociology, immigration, and race/ethnicity, as well as computational social science and social network analysis. Within these subfields, we seek scholars with demonstrated excellence in research and teaching who will broaden the research and teaching range of the Department as well as contribute to Cornell University’s historical commitment to diversity.
The position begins July 1, 2022. Applicants must have their Ph.D. in hand by that date.
