Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies (BGTS) at the Cluster of Excellence “Contestations of the Liberal Script”

Dear colleagues,

The Berlin Graduate School for Global and Transregional Studies (BGTS) is accepting applications for its three-year, English-language PhD programme in global and transregional studies. Application deadline for our 2022 intake in September is 31 January 2022.

The BGTS is the structured, full-time PhD programme of the Cluster of Excellence “Contestations of the Liberal Script” (SCRIPTS) at Freie Universität Berlin in cooperation with Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, WZB Berlin Social Science Center, Hertie School of Governance and others. The programme focuses on contemporary contestations of the liberal script and intends to bring together exceptionally talented and motivated graduate students from a broad variety of disciplines.
