Tenure-track or Tenured (Open rank) Positions in the Social Sciences
Yale-NUS College invites outstanding applications for at least three (3) open rank, tenure-track or tenured positions in the social sciences. Candidates would teach in our Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) and/or Global Affairs (GA) majors, as well as in Yale-NUS’s flagship common curriculum.
For GA, we particularly welcome applications from scholars who can teach international development or international/comparative political economy or quantitative methods, or who have regional expertise in the Middle East, Africa, or Latin America.
For PPE, evidence of scholarship or teaching that integrates two or more PPE fields (politics, economics, philosophy) would be an asset.
Applicants require a PhD in relevant discipline, such as politics, economics, sociology, development studies, or geography. They should be active researchers with a commitment to creative and effective undergraduate teaching and mentoring.
